BR Cohn '19 Sonoma Valley Special Select Cabernet Sauvignon

Our 2019 Special Selection is a testament to the richness and complexity of Sonoma County's terroir. On the nose, this wine exhibits enticing aromas of dark chocolate, black currant, and black cherry. The wine showcases a luxurious mouthfeel with a full-bodied and velvety texture, along with ripe black fruit flavors, such as blackberry and cassis. The tannins are firm but well-integrated, providing structure and balance while the acidity is bright, adding freshness to the wine. This wine has the potential to age gracefully and will continue to develop complexity over time. 

We produce a Special Selection Cabernet in only the best vintages. It is a limited-production wine chosen from the very best of our many hillside vineyard blocks. In this vintage, we selected the North Hill vineyard block from the original planting in 1970 and the more recently planted Fox Hill vineyard block. The warm growing season, along with very low yield produced a wine with ripe concentrated Cabernet aroma and flavor.
