2021 Cabernet Sauvignon Special Selection, Sonoma Valley

Aromas of dark chocolate, blackcurrant, and black cherry. On the palate ripe flavors of blackberry and cassis, complemented by hints of vanilla and oak spice, with firm, well-integrated tannins and bright acidity providing structure and balance. The finish reveals notes of espresso and mocha.

We produce a Special Selection Cabernet in only the best vintages. It is a limited-production wine chosen from the very best of our vineyard blocks. In this vintage, we selected our favorite barrels from Block 7 located on the hillside behind the winery and Block 3, from the original planting in 1970. The warm growing season, along with very low yield produced a wine with ripe concentrated aroma and flavor.
